Herself an inspiring artist and trendsetter of Mando-pop, Jolin Tsai comes back two years after Myself with her new album titled MUSE, with which she aims to create her pop masterpiece combining elements of music and art! With that concept in mind, the record company hired a crew of top musicians and artists from Paris, London, Beijing, Hong Kong, and Taiwan to work on the project. Besides the obligatory dance numbers, the album notably includes collaborations with such acclaimed songwriters as JJ Lin, Tanya Chua, Sodagreen’s Qing Feng, Tizzy Bac, and Peggy Hsu; Jolin also penned the lyrics for one of the songs, her first such endeavor since 2006. The album’s first plug “The Great Artist” is an upbeat girl-empowerment song featuring a dazzling palace dance choreographed by Jennifer Lopez’s dance teacher Parris Goebel.
