Gears Of War – Installation:
1) Extract the rar's with WinRar, 7-Zip, or WinAce
_____If you get "CRC failed in file name. The file is corrupt"! error, use repair command:
_____Open Winrar from the Start Menu. Navigate to and select the damaged file. Click "Repair" on the toolbar
2) Mount or Burn the iso.
_____Mount: use the included Microsoft Virtual ROM tool,
___________or whatever you prefer. Then, find the new drive in "My Computer"
_____or
_____Burn: burning software has the option to "Burn from Image".
__________"GEARSOFWAR.iso" is the image. (may say system.iso)
__________You'll need a Dual-Layer DVD burner and software like Nero,
__________plus a blank Dual-Layer DVD disk.
_____Mounting is faster, cheaper, and easier, but requires HDD space
_____Burning to Disk costs more and is slow, but gives a Hard Copy
3) Install Game, backup the installed Startup.exe file
4) Copy Razor 1911 Crack over installed Startup.exe file in the folder
____C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Gears of War\Binaries
Before Playing: Turn back the year on the PC to 2006.†
You'll need a free Ubi.com account to log in, and so the game will "Save".
Go to Ubi.com, and at the top of the page click "Sign Up".
Create a Username (carefull here! you'll be stuck with it for all Ubi games).
The username you create will be your player name in all Ubi games
You will need to give a real email address. everything else can be fake.
If you enter an age below 18, you will not be allowed to sign up.
If you get the free Ubi account BEFORE you try to play, you will login automatically
(at least, thats what happened to me)
